Hand Forged Frontier Style Blade With Fringe
This listing features a blade that was made from 1/4" 5160 steel and has a stabilized Maple burl handle. The sheath is made from 7-9 ounce leather (about 1/8" thick) Dyed, glued, and hand stitched with artificial sinew.
There are two layers of fringe alonge the edge of the sheath, accented by a hand-tooled and painted feather, and an arrow going alone the belt loop. The handle features an array of pins, unique from my other handles I've done. There is file work along the spine as well. There is a protective layer of leather between stitching to prevent the blade from cutting the sinew.
Handle: 4 1/2"
Overall: 11 1/2"
