- Sheath Material: 6-7 oz. Leather, hand-tooled and hand-stitched with artificial sinew.  
 
The sheath is dyed, sealed with Resolene, and designed for vertical carry. It includes a welt—a protective strip of leather between layers—to prevent the knife from cutting through the stitching.

Care Instructions:
 
As with all high-carbon steel blades, regular maintenance is essential. Wipe the blade dry after contact with moisture or dirt, and apply a light coat of food-grade oil, such as mineral oil, to prevent rust. For long-term storage in the sheath, periodically remove the blade to clean and oil it.
